While Sri Lanka going through our worse economic times due to we have burrowed so much money from so many nations, particularly neighboring Nations, and now their is no feasible way to repay their debt back, it is no coincidence in order to repay the the borrowed debt back extraordinary steps are been requested by the Debt holders themselves.

In a such a down-right corrupted country like Sri Lanka there is actually no accurate accountable figure to state just exactly how much we have actually borrowed from India

This borrowing is not limited to hard currency cash because in certain instances it has opted for material debt like fuel, essential food and medication. every commodity we have received from India carries monitory value to them,

To repay all the debt, it has borrowed from India, so as usually to appease India, Sri Lankan government has no choice but to agree upon to  to a land interconnectivity between Continental India and Sri Lanka.

Bottom line – the total debt we said to have owned to Continental India far more higher than the figures being published by the Sri Lankan Government to its people,

Because the Sri Lankan Government have no obligation to be truthful to its people rather it has to be far more accountability for the borrowers as continental India.

In a recent visit (july 2023) by Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickramasingha, to India he have said to have signed number of MOUs to Agreements, that still hasn’t been disclosed, neither to Sri Lankan Public nor to the Sri Lankan Parliament itself, one of the stupid privileges given to executive Presidency within Sri Lanka.

On the contrary the hype behind land connectivity between Continental India and Sri Lanka is nothing new,

Building of a such a physical connectivity between the two Nations has been on the agenda for almost three decades if not more. But however what we are witnessing right now is in a some way and may be first steps been taken to put this ambitious idea into action.

The prospective given to this by if not from all the Business Entrepreneurs is hardly matters here, Sri Lankans must realize and understand that if they have a brain inside their head that India is a country, the most populous Nation on earth, that even have superseded China.

Looking at this just form a Economical outlook is undeniably pity  if not stupid and even the so called economic benefits that said to benefit both countries, are not correct or true.

Because in the long run the smaller country that is Sri Lanka and its economical capacity and capability will be over driven if not over taken by the larger Nation eventually.

And also it Extremely important worth noting that this proposed land connectivity should not be compared with the channel tunnel (between UK-France) and all the economical benifits it has said reap out of it. Because both France and United Kingdom are fully developed countries.

On the contrary neither India nor Sri Lanka has ever reached status of being recognized as developed countries. And Sri Lanka as of 2023,  considered as an officially if not unfortunately a bankrupt Nation.

One of the key players if not the Key Architect behind this is no one but former parliamentarian present high commissioner of Sri Lanka Mr. Milinda Moragoda.

Mr. Milinda Moragoda, is a Die Hard believer of this initiative his unequivocal assumption is that by building this superficial Bridge it will indefinitely benefits Sri Lanka forever.

Even though he has lost his Parliament seat due to his inability to attain adequate votes, under former president Rajapaksa Regime got appointed as the high Commissioner for Sri Lanka in India.
