VOTE Of—No Confidence Against Health Minister Today…

The vote on a motion of no confidence against the Health Minister Keheliya Rambulwella is scheduled for today (08 September 2023) in the parliament.

According to credible sources, Parliament will reconvene at 9:30 a.m. today. And the vote on the motion of no confidence will take place in the afternoon around 5:30 p.m.

This vote of no confidence is put forward against the health Minister by ministers from opposition parties led by the SJB.

In the meantime, SJB parliamentarian and chief secretary Ranjith Maddumabandara stated that every official associated in the mishandling and cover-up of the Sri Lankan National Health Care crisis will be investigated and confronted with legal proceedings.
