Preemptive Attack on BELARUS will not be Tolerated—Russia…Consequences will be Severe

Moscow’s envoy to Belarus, Mr. Boris Gryzlov, has stated any sort of a military preemptive attack targeting Belarus will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will be dealt with severe retaliatory military measures from Russian combined strategic forces.

He made these comments in an interview conducted with Belarus STV broadcaster. Mr. Boris Gryzlov, previously served as Russian interior minister. He warned any third party state who will be intending on targeting Belarus will have to be prepared to face the retaliatory consequences from Russian armed forces.

He had quoted a statement from the Russian president “that in the event of an attack on Belarus, we will treat this as an attack on Russia. The military doctrine of the Russian Federation entails, in such a case, a response with all our weaponry,”

Mr. Boris Gryzlov, Statement echoes probability to even an actual possibility of Russia might even be poised to deploy its strategic Nuclear military Arsenal.

From the start of the Ukraine conflict, Belarus was a stringent supporter of Moscow’s efforts and as a result was to face off western backed Nations measures of intimidation in many fronts. As a result Minsk was forced to ask Moscow’s help in military aid to counter western backed threats of intimidation.

These factors have led to military cooperation between Belarus and Russia to be even stronger and eventually led to the deployment of Russia’s strategic nuclear Arsenal being deployed within Belarus – Poland territory. This deployment is also a deterrent against US led nuclear weapons being deployed throughout NATO sponsored countries.

But the rift between Belarus and NATO led countries plus many European Nations, all started back in the year 2020 with the Belarus presidential elections. Where they opposed, suppressed victory of Mr. Aleksandr Lukashenko being elected as the President. They even challenged the presidential  polls outcome itself. But in 2022 with the start of the Ukraine Russia  conflict the strained relationship between Belarus and NATO led European Nations had further deteriorated with president  Aleksandr Lukashenko Decision to out rightly support the Russian offensive unconditionally.

Poland has become the key player in propagating NATO and European Union lead actions against Belarus. Poland has angerly reacted to Russian strategic nuclear weapons being deployed at its border, additionally Russian military’s power military group Wagner Group, being deployed to Belarus as well.

Belarus has out rightly denied claims made by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, that the Wagner Group is attempting to stage a covert attack towards the Polish border. Instead Belarus accuses Poland of unnecessarily escalating the situation in favor of Washington’s move  to further destabilize the region by pushing the conflict into Polish territory itself.
